About 40 people from Chegilet village in Keiyo North constituency, Elgeyo Markwet County were hospitalised at a hospital in Iten after consuming contaminated milk.
Out of the 40 people, 20 were discharged after being treated while the rest are still under medication at the medical facility.
The incident was confirmed by Elgeyo Markwet County Executive Committee (CEC) member for health Michael Kibiwot.
Speaking to TV47, Kibiwot explained that the victims included 13 children, 7 women and 18 men.
