A new conversation has emerged around the relationship status of Georgina Njenga and actor Tyler Mbaya, popularly known as Baha, after the influencer clarified the nature of their relationship.
Georgina addressed speculation that the two may have rekindled their romance following a TikTok video they recently made together that sparked conversations online. However, she dismissed the claims, insisting that their connection today is strictly about raising their daughter.
According to Georgina, she and Mbaya are currently focused on co-parenting and ensuring their child grows up in a peaceful environment. The influencer shared that while their relationship ended some time ago, they have gradually learned to work together for the sake of their child.
“Yeah… I am not in a relationship, but I’m in a relationship. Niko tu because it’s not what you think. Situation-ship. For him, it’s strictly co-parenting. Of course there are arguments here and there, but we focus more on the baby. Of course, we do not go silent on each other if it is something important because of the baby,” Georgina said in an interview with media personality Oga Obinna.
She also reflected on how young she was when their relationship began, revealing that she was only 18 when she moved in with Mbaya. Their daughter was born during that period, but the couple eventually separated when the baby was about six months old.
Looking back, Georgina said the experience came with emotional challenges that required time to heal. She explained that growth and maturity have shaped how she now approaches life and relationships.
At the moment, she says her focus is largely on her future and personal development rather than rushing into another serious relationship. While she admitted she is currently in a “situationship,” Georgina maintained that she is not prioritising romance right now.
Despite the breakup, the influencer described her co-parenting journey with Mbaya as something that continues to evolve. She acknowledged that there are moments when things can get difficult, sometimes forcing them to take a bit of distance from each other. However, she noted that their daughter often becomes the bridge that helps them resolve issues and work together again.
“There was a certain time that he [Baha] was so bitter about some things, but with time we have come to understand each other, like with the bitterness; we talked about it. There are times I have been bitter about some things,” she added.
Georgina also revealed that she is open to building a cordial relationship with Mbaya’s future partner, saying she hopes they can eventually meet and be friends if the situation arises.
