AFC Leopards SC is set to usher in a new era of leadership as the club prepares to hold its Special General Meeting (SGM) on June 29, 2025.
The highly anticipated SGM, with the venue to be announced at a later date , will see members elect a new National Executive Committee (NEC) as the term of the current office bearers comes to an end.
This pivotal meeting will provide a crucial opportunity for AFC Leopards faithful to choose their new leaders across the three key elective posts: Chairman, Secretary General, and Treasurer.
The outcome of these elections is expected to significantly shape the club’s direction in the coming years, both on and off the pitch.
In preparation for the elections, the current National Executive Committee has proactively constituted the club’s Election Management Group (EMG).
This vital body has already laid the groundwork for a smooth and transparent electoral process, developing a comprehensive elections roadmap and detailed timelines to guide both members and aspiring candidates.
The AFC Leopards 2025 Elections Management Group comprises a dedicated team: Tony Lawrence (Chairman), Hosea Kisienya (Secretary), and members Moffat Mutiva and Temina Minage.
This group is tasked with overseeing the entire electoral process, ensuring fairness and adherence to established guidelines.
Adding another layer of legitimacy and oversight, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) will be overseeing the elections. The EMG, in conjunction with the IEBC, has already released a provisional list of eligible voters for the 2025 elections.
Members are strongly urged to review this list and verify their details by May 29, 2025, to ensure their participation in this democratic exercise.
