AFCON 2025: Morocco announces free e-visas for fans ahead of tournament

Fans travelling to Morocco for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 will now enjoy free electronic visas, the Local Organising Committee (LOC) and the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) have announced.

The e-visas, which can be obtained through the official YALLA app, will allow supporters easier entry into Morocco for Africa’s biggest football event, set to take place from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.

The announcement comes amid soaring global demand for tickets, with thousands of fans already securing seats through CAF’s online ticketing platform, tickets.cafonline.com.

In a bid to streamline travel and stadium access, CAF confirmed that a Fan ID will be required for entry into all stadiums and official fan zones. Fans can apply for both the Fan ID and the e-visa directly within the YALLA app, eliminating the need for multiple applications.

The integrated system ensures a faster, safer, and more efficient process for both international visitors and local supporters.

To apply, fans can download the YALLA app from Google Play or the App Store, or visit www.yallamorocco.ma. After completing the Fan ID form and e-visa request (if applicable), successful applicants can proceed to purchase match tickets online.

CAF and the LOC have also established a 24-hour multilingual helpdesk—available in Arabic, English, and French—to assist fans. [email protected].

The new measures are part of CAF’s ongoing efforts to deliver a seamless and secure fan experience across nine world-class stadiums in six Moroccan cities hosting the continental showpiece.

CAF reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that the 2025 edition of AFCON sets new benchmarks for organization, security, and fan engagement as Africa’s most prestigious football tournament returns to North Africa.
