KRG The Don has made a post on his Instagram story asking Kenyans to support Otile Brown’s music career, saying that he’s beefing with people online just to seek relevance.
This online drama involves two artists, Bensoul and Savara, both of whom have publicly dismissed Otile’s artistry.
In an interview clip Bensoul labeled Otile Brown as “overrated,” saying, “The technique of how he sings haibambi.” Around the same time, Savara was asked the same question in a separate media appearance and also echoed the statement, calling Otile “overrated.”
However, in a later interview, Bensoul appeared to backtrack, claiming that there’s no beef between him and Otile “Hakuna beef iko hapo. Sorry if I offended you,” he said.
Despite him making this apology, Otile wasn’t having it. He clapped back in his Instagram story post, calling out the hypocrisy of artists who diss him publicly but apologize privately.
“Now all of a sudden I’m the villain ah? and if you’re dissin let it be direct & stand on it,” Otile wrote.
“Acheni za ku come DM na kuomba msamaha baadaye kama Savara ameshinda ametuma mbogi na ile kijana ingine ya bangi na ovacado niliona kwa interview iki lia apo ivo eti nimsamehe .”
The message seems to target both Savara and Bensoul directly, accusing them of seeking forgiveness privately while dragging his name in interviews.
Moreover, Brian Mwenda, who is well known as Otile Brown big fan, also weighed in on this matter in his Instagram. “Never understood why Sol Generation artists have beef with Otile Brown in general.”
KRG The Don made a public plea to fans, saying Otile is nearly at his breaking point and needs support now more than ever. “Coz ako karibu kulia sasa… he’s beefing everyone ndio akue relevant online,” KRG posted.
