Kenyan music sensation Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee, has given a meaningful and impactful gift to her daughter, Fancy Makadia, and her husband as they begin their marital journey.
Akothee has gifted the newly weds apartments intended to serve as a long-term source of income and a foundation for generational wealth.
Akothee stated ,”these apartments are gifted to you, and it’s going to be your source of extra income. But being in the hospitality industry, I will expect you to fill your apartments by yourself,” she said while handing the apartments to the newlyweds.
“I want this to be a boost for you. I want to see your account flourish. You know, you are next to your sister. I want to see your account. In these apartments, you can rent them at 25,000. So, if you rent them 10 days, that is 250,000 in a month.”
The self proclaimed “president of single mothers” pointed out a crucial directive on the couple ,”please don’t sell this apartments, make sure to pass them down to the next generation.”
This instruction shows Akothee’s deep desire to instill financial wisdom and ensure a legacy of prosperity and wealth for her family, moving beyond immediate gratification towards sustained wealth creation.
The ceremony took place exactly one year after their engagement. It was held in France, where Fancy has been living and studying.
