Andrew Tate accused of false imprisonment in Dubai by ex-girlfriend

Controversial media personality Andrew Tate is facing a new lawsuit from his ex-girlfriend, Brianna Stern, who alleges he filed a false police report in Dubai to orchestrate her detention in the Middle Eastern city for over a month.

The claims, made in an amended legal action filed by attorney Tony Buzbee, paint a picture of deliberate manipulation, suggesting the alleged action was a calculated move to trap Ms Stern.

According to the court documents, Tate, often described as a poster boy for toxic masculinity, went to police in Dubai in June. He reportedly accused Ms Stern of publicly posting false statements about him, which constitutes a crime under U.A.E. law. Under investigation for such a crime, a person is legally barred from leaving the country.

Ms Stern claims this was the honeypot trap, as Tate was fully aware that, as a professional model, she travels to Dubai frequently for work.

Ms Stern arrived in Dubai for work in September 27, and in October 12, she was detained at the airport while attempting to leave, the Officials informed her that She was under investigation and subject to a travel ban.

The basis were tweets allegedly posted by Ms Stern criticising Tate, which she claims were entirely fabricated.

Following the detention, Ms Stern claims police seized her phone. For the next six weeks, she was unable to return to the United States and was subjected to multiple interrogations.

Her attempts to get assistance from the U.S. Embassy reportedly failed. During this period, she began receiving threatening direct messages (DMs) on social media.

“Tate’s gonna get you.”

Ms Stern believes these harassing messages were sent by Tate’s minions. Her fears escalated when reports surfaced that both Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan, had arrived in Dubai.

Crucially, Ms Stern was granted a three-year restraining order against Tate in September, banning him from being near her or contacting her. If the claims about the threatening messages are substantiated, this could constitute a violation of that existing court order.

Ms Stern eventually returned to her home in Los Angeles around 21 November. The documents do not explain how she managed to secure her release from the U.A.E.

The new allegations of false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress are being added to Ms Stern’s original lawsuit, which was filed earlier this year and included claims of sexual assault against Tate.

The legal action intensifies the scrutiny on the controversial figure, bringing serious criminal and civil claims into the global spotlight.
