As Muslim faithful marks the sacred month of Ramadan, leaders are stressing the intertwined importance of faith, moral values, and public safety.
The gathering, graciously hosted by Ustadh Abdul Abdalla Omar Dima, brought community voices together in reflection and action.
Patron Elkana Jacob highlighted the societal role of spirituality: “Faith is the backbone of our well-being. It strengthens unity within our community and nurtures positive values that help build a more cohesive and compassionate society.”
Sheikh Abdul Abdalla Omar Dima echoed this sentiment, urging worshippers to embrace both devotion and ethical responsibility.
“Ramadan is not only a month of fasting; it is a time to purify our hearts, reinforce bonds, and practice integrity in every action,” he said.
Security was also placed at the forefront. Jacob who aspires to be a nyali mp urged law enforcement to intensify patrols and safeguard public spaces.
“We call upon our security agencies to enhance essential security measures, especially during this sacred month,” he emphasized, highlighting the shared responsibility between authorities and citizens.
The event reinforced that faith, unity, and security are inseparable pillars of a stable and compassionate society — a reminder that Ramadan extends beyond ritual, demanding vigilance, moral discipline, and community cohesion.
