ASAP Credit and Weritas Partner to Explore Digital Financial Solutions for Women

ASAP Credit has announced a collaboration with Weritas, a women-led financial technology platform, to explore emerging technologies that could strengthen digital financial infrastructure and expand financial access for women.

The announcement was made in recognition of International Women’s Day and reflects ASAP Credit’s continued commitment to responsible financial inclusion and innovation within Kenya’s regulated financial sector.

ASAP Credit, a licensed Digital Credit Provider regulated by the Central Bank of Kenya, stated that it will continue to operate within the country’s regulatory framework, including requirements related to consumer protection, responsible lending, and licensing compliance.

The collaboration with Weritas will focus on exploring digital technologies that may support the development of secure financial services and improve access to financial tools for women.

The partnership will examine several areas of technological innovation, including secure digital infrastructure for financial services, artificial intelligence tools that can support credit analytics and operational efficiency, as well as modern digital identity and data security frameworks.

Any future implementation of these technologies will remain subject to applicable laws and regulatory approvals where necessary.

Kenya is widely recognized as a global leader in digital financial services, driven by strong mobile financial platforms and an active fintech ecosystem.

Within this environment, financial institutions and technology developers continue to explore new digital solutions that can improve transparency, efficiency, and accessibility in financial services.

Through this collaboration, ASAP Credit and Weritas intend to study emerging digital infrastructure models, including secure digital identity systems and next-generation data frameworks designed to strengthen financial participation.

A key objective of the collaboration is to support broader financial inclusion for women, particularly professionals and individuals participating in modern digital economies.

Weritas focuses on developing technology platforms aimed at improving access to digital financial tools across emerging markets, while ASAP Credit’s involvement reflects its broader mission to expand access to financial services while maintaining strict regulatory compliance and consumer protection standards.
