Athletics Kenya (AK) has suspended all activities organised by Scholarbook International within Kenya, citing non-compliance with the federation’s mandatory anti-doping regulations and event management requirements.
In a statement, AK said Scholarbook International has gone ahead to promote and organise a “time trials/recruitment” event dubbed Golden Ticket Training, scheduled for March 12, 2026, at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru, despite the suspension directive. The event has reportedly been advertised through social media platforms.
The federation has now cautioned athletes and Athlete Support Personnel against taking part in the event or any other activities organised by Scholarbook International until further notice.
AK warned that participation in non-sanctioned competitions could expose athletes to regulatory and eligibility risks under both national and international athletics governance frameworks.
The federation urged members of the athletics fraternity to strictly adhere to its guidelines and verify the approval status of events before committing to participate.
