Autopsy reveals what killed 17-year-old Brian Ndung’u during June 25 protests in Olkalou

The autopsy results reveal that Brian Ndung’u Wanjiru, a 17-year-old teenager, was shot dead during the June 25th Gen Z demonstrations in Olkalou.

Dr. Titus Ngulungu, who conducted the postmortem in the presence of his family, the IPOA, and the DCI at the JM Hospital Mortuary in Olkalou Town, concluded that Brian Ndung’u Wanjiru, a 17-year-old kid, was murdered by two bullets.

Brian was among the Gen Z protestors who were protesting in Olkalou town when he was injured and transported to the hospital, where he was declared dead.

In his report, the government pathologist states that Brian died from gunshot wounds to the right upper back.

While speaking to the press, the family expressed satisfaction with the findings and urged well-wishers to come to their aid as they prepare to bury their son on Saturday in Shamata area, Ndaragwa constituency.

They also plead to county leaders to help them because they feel forgotten in their pursuit of justice for their son, who was killed while unarmed.
