Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino is looking for a devoted Gen Z supporter who tattooed his face on the back, saying that loyalty like this deserves to be rewarded in installments.

Babu Owino shared a photo of the striking back tattoo on his social media pages on Tuesday February 10, 2026, expressing his appreciation for the fan’s dedication.

“I am looking for this loyal Kenyan. Loyalty must be rewarded in installments,” Babu Owino wrote on his social media platforms.

Kenyans flooded the comment section with his signature slogan “Babu kwa sababu.”

This isn’t the first time someone has permanently marked themselves with Babu Owino’s image. A few months back, a passionate female supporter went viral after revealing she’d spent Ksh 13,500 on two tattoos of the MP.

She explained that her tattoo journey started in Form Four when she first got his name inked for Ksh 3,500, later adding his face for Ksh 10,000.

“Kuna tattoo nilichora nikiwa Form Four, sikuchora niliandika Babu Owino so ni jamaa nimetambua kutoka kitambo. Ya kwanza nilichorwa na Ksh 3,500, ya pili imenichukua Ksh 10,000,” she shared.

Her devotion has earned her the village nickname Mrs Owish, and she says her neighbors tease her whenever Babu Owino faces legal troubles.

“In fact nikiulizwa na watu uko single huwa nawaambia soma label so wanaichukuwa seriously hadi wakanibandika jina Mrs Owish,” she explained with a laugh.
