Boost for KSSSA term one games as Brookside pumps in KSh30 million

The 2025 Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) Term One National Games have received a significant financial boost following a KSh30 million sponsorship from Brookside Dairy.

Scheduled to be played from Tuesday, 7th to Saturday 11th April in Kisumu County, the games will bring together over 3,000 student-athletes from across the country.

The competition will feature several sporting disciplines, including basketball 5-on-5, hockey, cross-country, handball, rugby 15s, athletics, and swimming.

The sponsorship, which has been announced underscores the dairy processor’s long-standing commitment to nurturing young sporting talents in Kenya.

Brookside Dairy’s Corporate Communications Manager, Wilson Okong’o, has emphasized the company’s dedication to sports development, this being their 23rd year as the major sponsors of the annual term 1 games.

He explained that the allocation of the sponsorship, will also cater for 2 pairs of player kits, Logistics, trophies, and certificates.

The games will be hosted at multiple venues, including Kisumu day, Kisumu Polytechnic and Kisumu boys with the opening ceremony set to take place at the Kisumu Mamboleo Stadium on the day of the kick off.
