Bureti National Polytechnic has officially launched the implementation of ISO 21001:2025, the global standard for Educational Organization Management Systems.
This strategic move underscores the institution’s deepened commitment to learner-centered education, quality improvement, and inclusivity across all its academic and training programs.
Speaking during the launch event, Principal Sammy Cheruyot noted that the revised ISO 21001:2025 standard features a significant integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), offering a framework that empowers institutions to optimize management systems, improve service delivery, and enhance student outcomes.
“The AI-driven component in the revised ISO standard allows us to align with modern educational demands. By adopting this system, we are not only streamlining our operations but also boosting our institutional credibility while nurturing a culture of continuous improvement,” said Cheruyot.
In addition to the ISO implementation, the principal announced that Bureti National Polytechnic has been officially accredited as a Qualifications Awarding Institution by the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA). This milestone follows rigorous institutional audits, curriculum reviews, and consultations with industry stakeholders and regulatory bodies positioning the institution to play a key role in shaping Kenya’s technical and vocational training landscape.
