What began as a highly publicized love story between comedian and digital content creator, Vanessa Akinyi popularly known as Cartoon and her partner Rotimi of Africa has come to an end, with the two confirming about their breakup and agreeing to co-parent.

Rotimi has confirmed that the relationship ended, revealing that the two have chosen to part ways romantically and instead focus on co-parenting their son.

According to him, sustained public pressure, online criticism, and constant commentary about their personal and professional life choices placed strain on their relationship.
