Just months after confirming their separation, award-winning director Richard Kamau, popularly known as Director Ritchie, and his wife Rena Solomon, better known as Rena Mdosi, have officially rekindled their marriage.

Together they are celebrated as the Wadosi Family, a brand built on love, faith, and family.

The couple had announced their split in January 2026, barely three years after their star-studded 2023 wedding, saying they were peacefully co-parenting. But prayers, honest conversations, and a shared faith pulled them back to each other.

In a joint video, Rena addressed their followers directly and held nothing back.

“We have decided that we can give this a second shot, for our own sake, our children, and for the sake of God’s glory,” she said, acknowledging that Ritchie had briefly moved on during their time apart but that restoration had ultimately won.

Ritchie echoed that same spirit of humility on Instagram page.

“We all make mistakes sometimes. None of us are perfect, but through the mercy of God, we are given another chance to grow, to forgive, and to fight for what truly matters,” he wrote.

He closed with a verse that seemed to sum up their entire journey back to each other, drawn from 1 Peter 4:8, “Love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”

The Wadosi Family is choosing to stand together, and their community could not be more supportive, with many flooding their comment section saying that love always wins.
