China Vice President visits Nairobi National Park during official trip to Kenya

The Vice President of the People’s Republic of China, Han Zheng, on Monday, March 23 visited Nairobi National Park as part of his ongoing official visit to Kenya, highlighting the importance of environmental conservation and strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations.

He was accompanied by Kenya’s Tourism and Wildlife Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano and other senior Kenyan government officials during the visit.

Han Zheng is currently in Kenya on an official state visit aimed at deepening diplomatic relations and advancing cooperation in key sectors such as infrastructure development, trade, technology, and investment.

The day also saw Han Zeng and Deputy President Kithure Kindiki flag off the first consignment of Kenyan products destined for export to China at Nairobi Railway Station in Syokimau.

This visit reflects the continued strengthening of Kenya-China relations, built on mutual respect, shared growth ambitions, and a commitment to sustainable development.
