Pastor Kanyari publicly embraced Marion Naipei at his church, Salvation Healing Ministry, today Wednesday 21st January, 2026, following the leak of her intimate video, which led to widespread online criticism and ridicule.
“I’ve committed to supporting you on this journey that’s only beginning. Don’t hesitate to reach out, my doors remain open,” Kanyari told her.
During the service, he asked his congregation if they recognized the woman from the trending video. When many raised their hands, he lightheartedly remarked to Marion, “See, you’re a celebrity.”
An emotional Marion expressed gratitude, saying being alive and healthy isn’t something to take for granted.
She praised Kanyari’s ministry work and asked for God’s continued blessings upon him.
“You are really doing a good work. May God really bless you. May God really bless you so much. Wengi wameona kazi yako, wengi wamekutambua. May God bless you so much,” Marion said.
The pastor defended her situation, explaining she’s a single mother who was seeking financial support. ““This girl, ametrend sana. Me namuelewa, alikuwa anatafuta. She had to make the man happy to see if she will get something. She is a single mother of one. What did you want her to do? This isn’t the moment to attack her, it’s time to stand beside her,” he said.
He then presented Marion with Ksh. 50,000, acknowledging it might not solve everything but expressing confidence that with support, she would rise above her circumstances.
“And today, because you are my friend, I bless you with 50,000 Kenya shillings. Thank you so much. Thank you, my girl. This is the 50,000 I said I will give you. This 50,000 might not be enough, lakini tukiwa pamoja, you are my friend, najua you’ll never be down again. Hautakuwa chini tena, utakuwa juu,” Kanyari said.
Kanyari concluded by referencing his own past scandal involving “310,” stating he learned never to look down on others and would always stand with those who are struggling.
“When you support the vulnerable, God will support you,” he said.
