This wasn’t just a photo opportunity. Sources suggest the meeting marks the Portuguese icon’s first step into serious international relations.

Donald Trump, never one to shy away from a spectacle, was visibly thrilled, but perhaps more for his family than himself. The President revealed that arranging the meeting earned him significant points with his youngest son, Barron.

“My son is a huge fan of Ronaldo, and I’m thrilled that Barron got to meet him, it’s clear that he now has even more respect for his father after I arranged the meeting.”

Georgina Rodríguez, Ronaldo’s partner, confirmed the family’s presence early on. She posted two photos from Washington DC, sparking immediate social media frenzies before the official details were even released.

For years, legal analysts and media outlets speculated that Ronaldo would never set foot on American soil again due to legal issues in Las Vegas. Critics frequently claimed he was “not allowed to enter the USA”.
