Cyrus Jirongo: Former MP killed in Naivasha road crash

Former Lugari Member of Parliament (MP) Cyrus Jirongo has died.

Jirongo died on Saturday, December 13 after he was involved in an accident at Naivasha on the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway.

Preliminary reports say that Jirongo was driving himself to his rural home in Lugari, Kakamega County, when his vehicle was involved in a head-on-collision with a PSV bus at around 3:00 am.

According to Naivasha DCIO Isaac Kiama, Jirongo died on the spot.
