Daddie Marto has issued a public apology following the online outburst directed at his estranged wife, Koku Lwanga, and spiritual advisor Mark Christian Kimani, who is popularly known on Instagram as he_lifts_sings_n_meditates.

In a series of Instagram Stories, Marto admitted that he had allowed anger and frustration to get the better of him, which ended up leading him to publicly air out personal matters.

“I have had time to sit with myself, sit with the counsel of friends, colleagues, family and elders. I will stop.I was angry, frustrated and I broke. I am human. We have our limits. I am sorry for the ugliness.I need to protect my family that is very clearly under attack, “he stated.

Marto alleged that the spiritual advisor preyed on Koku during a vulnerable time in their marriage, which was an act he claims contributed to their separation. He revealed that while he had removed some of the previous Instagram highlights on the matter, he would restore those related to the spiritual figure, whom he referred to as “the Diviner.”

“I had removed the highlights, but I’ll bring back just the ones on the Diviner because I unfortunately discovered him long after a hell had broken loose. Because I keep discovering more about him and it is now my mission to remove him from the hearts and souls of our women and children because no man can fall for his nonsense.”

“I failed my family. I did not cover them with enough prayers… That is on me,” he stated.In his final statement on the matter, Marto revealed that he and Koku may never reconcile as a couple but emphasized his commitment to co-parenting their children. He stated on his Instagram story, “It might be too late for me and the mother of my children as a couple, but it is not too late for us as parents.”

Marto concluded by stating that he is now in a “spiritual battlefield” and will refrain from further public commentary on the issue until “the enemy has been defeated.”
