The Kenya Air Force Golf Club Championship has wrapped up in Nairobi, with standout performances marking this year’s final at Moi Air Base in Eastleigh.
Dismus Mukua emerged as the overall winner, showcasing exceptional skill to beat defending champion Major Don Torerei.
Fredrick Wagura and Patrick Kinywa settled for second and third place respectively in the highly competitive field.
The seven-month-long tournament, sponsored by Vivo Energy Kenya, attracted players from clubs including Thika Barracks, Kisii Golf Club and Ruiru Sports Club.
In other categories, Dr. Ayub Shitesewa claimed the guest title, Anita Nyaguto won the junior crown, while Brigadier Wesonga topped the senior category.
Captain Joy Njangi was named the ladies champion, Major Wafula Bwire took the men’s title, and Harun Wanyama secured the gross award.
Organisers and sponsors hailed the event as a key platform for growing golf talent in Kenya.
