Police have launched investigations after a driver was attacked and killed as he attended to his car that had stalled at Cabanas area in Embakasi, along Mombasa Road.
The victim, identified as John Arama Geke, was in the company of a woman when they were attacked.
According to the police report, the deceased was heading home from a night of refreshment when his saloon car developed a mechanical problem at Cabanas.
During the incident, a lone rider on a motorcycle approached with the intent to help, but he turned out to be a robber.
A confrontation ensued, and the rider stabbed the victim twice, leading to his death.
Police arrived at the crime scene and helped to move the body to the city mortuary, pending autopsy as investigations continue.
No suspect has been arrested so far but police have launched a hunt for the attacker.
Meanwhile, police interrogated the lady who was with the driver in the car during the incident.
