Karen Nyamu, Samidoh and wife Edday in ugly Dubai drama

There was drama at Mugithi sensation Samidoh’s live concert in Dubai when his two women - Karen Nyamu, and official wife Edday Nderitu clashed.

It was an eclectic evening of high drama and entertainment, exchange of words, pushing and shoving, and a cat fight that almost turned ugly.

A video seen by ‘TV47 Digital’ shows Nyamu, a nominated Senator, as the provocateur. She paced towards the table where Samidoh was seating his wife and sat on his lap.

Incensed, Edday rose to “protect” her turf- and man-, triggering the 'fight'.

Karen apparently lost her cool and may have gotten physical with Samidoh-her baby daddy- but security men at the venue restrained her.

All the while, Edday attempted to pull Nyamu from her husband in a scene that was the highlight of the evening.

Tension between the two love rivals -Nyamu and Edday- had started building up earlier, notably through social media.

Edday had posted: “Ending the year on a high note with family and friends. Dubai lazima mugithi ishike.” 

On her part, Nyamu had posted a photo of herself next to a SUV in Dubai, captioning it: “I'm a big supporter of people being exactly who they are.” 

At the Mugithi event, other notable musicians who performed with Samidoh were Karangu Wa Muraya, Joyce Wa Mama, and DJ Dbul. It was Samidoh's lats performance before his return to Kenya after a tour of U.S and UAE.
