Fathermoh challenges Tipsy Gee and Toxic Lyrikali to settle beef in the boxing ring

Kenyan music star Fathermoh has weighed in on the ongoing public feud between fellow artists Tipsy Gee and Toxic Lyrikali, proposing a dramatic, yet profitable, solution to their tif, a boxing match.

Fathermoh believes the highly publicised beef should be taken out of the studio and into the ring, suggesting that fans would eagerly pay to witness the showdown.

Fathermoh issued the challenge on social media, arguing that the musicians’ rivalry has generated enough public interest to warrant a major entertainment event. His idea taps into the rising global trend of celebrity boxing, where feuding personalities settle scores under sporting rules.

The Genge Tone artist’s proposal aims to transform the negativity of a rivalry into a lucrative and engaging spectacle for the local entertainment scene.

The rivalry between Tipsy Gee and Toxic Lyrikali has been simmering for some time, reportedly involving professional disagreements, lyrical clashes, and personal attacks.

The ongoing conflict started when Toxic lyrikali rejected Tipssy Gee’s request to collab on a song, which made him furious and started insulting Toxic Lyrikali claiming his buzz in the music scene will fade and he will look for them. This led to the artists trading insults and negative remarks in interviews and social media posts.

The two operate in similar musical lanes, fuelling competition over market share and fan loyalty.

Fathermoh’s challenge comes at a time when Kenya’s entertainment industry is increasingly embracing the fusion of sport and celebrity drama.

Recent reports confirm that Kenya hosted its First Celebrity Fight Night event, featuring Actually Lumu vs Barak Jacuzzi as the main fight, and was held at The Alchemist in Westlands, Nairobi, on November 2, 2025, during Kenya’s first Celebrity Fight Night. Other Kenyan creators also participated in boxing matches to settle their personal beefs.

The success of such events globally, which draw massive pay-per-view and attendance figures, suggests Fathermoh’s idea is timely and commercially viable.

Such matches are often packaged with comprehensive behind-the-scenes content, turning personal feuds into detailed entertainment narratives.

The question now remains whether Tipsy Gee and Toxic Lyrikali will take up the offer and transition their beef from verbal jabs to physical ones, giving their fans the highly anticipated match-up Fathermoh believes they crave.
