Football Kenya Federation (FKF) President Hussein Mohammed has publicly lauded President William Ruto for his significant contribution to the football fraternity. He noted that the President’s investment has had a positive impact not just in Kenya, but across the African continent.
The FKF President highlighted a “major achievement” at the global stage directly resulting from the administration’s support. For the first time in the federation’s history, Kenya has secured three key positions within various FIFA committees.

Kenya now has representation on the following prestigious FIFA committees:
- The Stadium and Security Committee at FIFA.
- The International Relations Committee at FIFA.
- The Ethics Committee at FIFA.
Hussein Mohammed stressed that these appointments are a clear testament to the achievements and the trust that FIFA has in the FKF. This trust, he explained, has been built through the investment that President Ruto and his administration have dedicated to the sport over the past couple of months.
