The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has announced that entry to the Kasarani Indoor Arena will be free of charge for the upcoming CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2026 qualifier.
The Kenyan national team, the Harambee Sambas, will host Namibia in the decisive second-leg fixture on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
The national side faces a significant challenge after suffering an 8-4 defeat in the first leg held in Swakopmund last Friday.
Despite early goals from Mike Otieno and Anas Cheik, Kenya struggled to contain a dominant second-half performance by the “Brave 5,” led by captain Ken Salote’s four-goal haul.
The winner of this tie on aggregate will advance to the final qualifying round to face Libya in February. The ultimate goal is to secure one of the seven available slots for the continental finals in Morocco, which also serves as the qualification pathway for the FIFA Futsal World Cup.
Head coach James Omondi remains optimistic despite the first-leg deficit, citing the return leg as a vital learning opportunity for his young squad to capitalize on home advantage.
