Kibera Soccer Women will lock horns with Vihiga Queens in the 2025 FKF Women’s Cup final set for Saturday, June 28, at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru with kick-off scheduled for 2:00 PM.
The final, initially planned for June 14, was rescheduled by the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) to give room for the national women’s team, Harambee Starlets, to participate in the 2025 CECAFA Senior Women’s Championship, which wrapped up over the weekend in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Kibera Soccer Women have enjoyed a dream cup run and will be looking to cap it off with a historic title. After eliminating defending champions Ulinzi Starlets 4-3 on penalties in the quarterfinals, they followed it up with a convincing 2-0 victory over FKF Women’s Premier League winners Kenya Police Bullets in the semifinals.
On the other hand, four-time league championsVihiga Queens will be aiming to add another trophy to their cabinet. They secured their place in the final with a 2-1 win over Bungoma Queens in the semis, and despite a disappointing fourth-place finish in the league, they’ll be keen to end the season on a high.
The 2025 FKF Women’s Cup final promises to be a thrilling and fiercely contested encounter with both teams chasing silverware to avoid a trophyless season.
