Kenya’s boxing scene is set for a major shake-up as Kalakoda Promotions brings its renowned Friday Fight Nights series to Nairobi for the first time.
The event, titled “Nightmare in Nairobi,” is scheduled for November 21, 2025, at Masshouse, promising a thrilling fusion of sport and entertainment on an international scale.
The highly anticipated night will feature a 10-fight card, headlined by former WBC World Champion Fatuma Zarika, who will face Halima Vunajebi of Tanzania in an eight-round super featherweight bout.
The lineup includes some of the best professional boxers from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, the DRC, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.
Beyond the ring, the event will blend boxing with showbiz, featuring a celebrity exhibition fight between actors Brahim Ouma and Robert Agengo, as well as live performances by acclaimed producer and DJ JT The Drone.
Premium hospitality experiences will also be offered, aiming to redefine the live boxing experience in East Africa.
The fights will be broadcast across East Africa and internationally, positioning Kenya as an emerging hub for global sporting and cultural showcases.
