London-based Afrobeats and R&B singer Gabzy is set to perform alongside Nigerian superstar Asake at a highly anticipated concert in Nairobi on December 20. It marks the kickoff of Asake’s African tour, which will also include stops in Lagos and Côte d’Ivoire
Gabzy, born Gabriel Akinyemi, is a London-based Afro-fusion artist whose rise has been as impressive as it has been authentic, captivating fans with his unique blend of smooth R&B and Afrobeats, creating a distinct sound that bridges continents.
His breakout collaborative EP Summers with producer Melvitto introduced him to a global audience, followed by solo releases such as Malone, Hear Me Out, Jambazz, and Piano. Having sold out major venues like Islington Assembly Hall and Somerset House in London, Gabzy continues to prove himself as one of the most exciting voices of the new Afro-R&B wave.
