Speaking to over 200 agro stockists in Kisii Town who hailed from Kisii, Nyamira, Migori and Bomet counties, Avenews Director Emmanuel Mbugua said his institution was committed to promoting them financially.

Mbugua added that the could apply digitally to access the credit of procuring the agro products for distribution to the stockists and farmers.

He explained the move was prompted by cash flow challenges noticed with the stockists.

The institution’s head of sales, Faith Mwirigi, assured the stockists on the safety of data collected from them, clarifying it was meant to improve the agribusiness sector.
