Nairobi, Kenya — The PaceSetter Teens Festival made a bold impact this year as over 7,000 teenagers gathered to take a united stand against Gender-Based Violence (GBV).
Among the speakers was celebrated gospel artist Hopekid, under RYSE Global, who energized and inspired the massive crowd with a strong message of resilience, empowerment, and social responsibility.
The festival, aligned with the global 16 Days of Activism campaign, created a safe and influential platform for teens to engage, learn, and speak out against all forms of GBV.
Through music, mentorship, and open dialogue, Hopekid and RYSE Global emphasized the urgent need for young people to champion respect, safety, and positive change within their communities.
“We are saying NO TO GBV,” Hopekid affirmed, rallying the teens to become active participants in building a violence-free society.
The PACE Setter Teens Festival has once again proved to be a catalyst for positive change, inspiring young people to become agents of transformation in their communities. As Kenya continues to grapple with the scourge of GBV, events like these serve as a beacon of hope, demonstrating the power of collective action and the unwavering commitment of its youth to creating a brighter, safer future for all.
In memory of the lost souls RYSE GLOBAL INC and PACE Setter planted five trees at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).
