The Public Service Commission has announced the recruitment of interns in Ministries, Departments, State Agencies/ corporations, and public universities under the PSIP for the Financial Year 2025-2026.
The main objective of the internship programme is to offer college graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build skills to enhance their chances for employment, networking, and entrepreneurship.
Application for internship closes on August 18, 2025.
Requirements for appointment
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University, should have graduated not earlier than 2018, and be proficient in computer skills.
Duties and responsibilities during the internship period include completing duties mutually agreed upon and assigned by supervisors, documenting relevant skills acquired in their areas of deployment and actively participating in any relevant mentorship activities and additional responsibilities designed for the programme.
The intership programme is expected to take 12 months. The interns will be paid a stipend at a rate as determined by the Government.
In addition, the interns will be awarded a certificate upon completion of the internship programme.
