Government announces 60 new job opportunities for Kenyans

Several government affiliated institutions have declared over 60 employment opportunities in a range of departments, inviting eligible Kenyan citizens to submit their applications.

According to an announcement published in Tuesday’s edition of My gov, multiple public institutions are currently accepting applications for numerous roles.

These include teaching, administrative, medical and technical positions.

Multimedia University of Kenya is hiring for several departments. They are seeking lecturers for finance and accounting as well as film and animation.

Additionally, the university needs a senior nurse for its health centre, an ICT manager, and three drivers.

These roles come with attractive compensation packages, which consist of a basic salary, medical benefits, housing allowance, transportation stipend and paid leave.

More details and the application process are available on the institution’s website, and the deadline for submissions is April 28,2025.

The Teacher’s Service Commission(TSC) is also conducting a recruitment drive. They are looking to employ one Senior principal for a Teacher Training College (TTC) and 35 senior lecturers.

Those interested must apply online through the TSC website by midnight on April 21.

Elsewhere, Bukura Agricultural College is recruiting for two key positions; a Human Resource and Administration Manager and a Supply Chain Officer.

Interested candidates are advised to check the college’s website for detailed instructions on how to apply.

In the energy sector, the Geothermal Development Company is seeking eight individuals to fill various senior-level roles.

The vacancies include positions in legal affairs, a drilling operations, business growth, auditing and risk management.

Additional roles are open in ICT, finance ,community engagement, supply chain, and strategic planning. Applications must be submitted via jobs.gdc.co.ke before 5.00pm on May 7, 2025.

Lastly, the Kenya School of Law is accepting applications for part-time lecturers to support its Paralegal Training Program.

Interested educators should visit the school’s website, navigate to the Careers section, create a profile, and send in their applications to the Director’s office not later than April 21.
