Kenya’s Harambee Starlets will take on Ivory Coast tonight in their second warm-up match ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The clash kicks off at 10 pm EAT at the Alassane Ouattara Ebimpé Olympic Stadium in Abidjan.
After a 2-0 loss to Benin in their first friendly last Monday, Beldine Odemba’s 25-player squad will be eager to secure a morale-boosting result.
The team will move their training base to Marseille, France, after the game, in preparation for the tournament in Morocco starting March 17.
The Starlets squad blends international experience and local talent, featuring 12 players from European leagues and 13 from Kenyan clubs.
Kenya opens their Group A campaign against hosts Morocco, followed by matches against Senegal and Algeria.
This will be Kenya’s second WAFCON appearance since their debut in 2016, and the team is aiming for a stronger performance on the continental stage.
