Tanzanian music star Harmonize, born Rajab Abdul Kahali, has proposed to his longtime lover Frida Kajala, officially announcing their engagement.
The musician shared the exciting news on Instagram with a heartfelt message expressing how much Kajala means to him.
He revealed that loving her has made him love himself more and pushed him to work harder towards success.
“The love and respect you give me comes back to me. Loving you makes me love myself more, think about progress more, want to be richer so I can take better care of you. I find myself saving little by little and moving forward,” Harmonize wrote.
He went on to explain how Kajala inspires him to be a better man, motivating him to hit the gym to impress her and spend more time in the studio so she can appreciate his music even more.
“Baby, you’re my life inspiration. Simply put, I’m the one who benefits the most between us,” he declared.
The Bongo-Star praised Kajala for building him into a gentleman and helping him earn more respect.
He emphasized that loving and respecting her is no longer just a promise but their reality.
“Here we are, December 29. Thanks a lot for trusting and always being by my side. I will never take it for granted. This is my last card in the game of life. Ten years later, it still feels like we are starting,” he wrote, ending with the hashtag HK4ever.
Kajala responded to the sweet post with equal affection, commenting “HKF4ever” with heart and ring emojis.
Harmonize later added another comment on her post, calling her a gift from God and declaring that every day spent with her teaches him the true meaning of love, respect and peace.
“I will choose you today, tomorrow and forever. The woman of my life,” he concluded.
The couple’s engagement announcement has been met with an outpouring of congratulations from fans and fellow celebrities who have followed their relationship journey over the past decade.
This is the second time Harmonize is proposing to Kajala, first time being June 25, 2022, shortly after the couple reconciled following a highly publicized breakup in 2021, during which Harmonize publicly campaigned to win her back.
As part of his efforts to win her back, Harmonize gifted Kajala two Range Rover Evoques and appointed her as the manager of his record label, Konde Music Worldwide.
They later separated again and rekindled their love late 2025.
