To view results online, parents and learners can log in to the official Ministry portal at kjsea.knec.ac.ke, where they will be required to input the learner’s assessment number to retrieve the information instantly.
In areas with limited connectivity, the Ministry has provided a second option: an SMS query. By sending the assessment number to 22263, users can receive details of the learner’s selected schools. Each text message will cost Sh30.

- Go to kjsea.knec.ac.ke
- Enter the candidate’s Assessment Number
- Input at least one registered name
- Accept the privacy and access notice
- Click Search to view the results
How Institutions Can Access School Results
- The Head of Institution should log in to the CBA portal: cba.knec.ac.ke
- Navigate to the Results menu
- Click on the download link to access and save the school’s results
The SMS platform remains active for those without internet access, offering an alternative channel for retrieving the learner’s placement and assessment details.
