“I Almost Quit”: Trisha Khalid reveals the blunt advice from Vera Sidika that saved her social media career

Actress and content creator Trisha Khalid has opened up about a breaking point many influencers quietly face — the moment she nearly walked away from social media for good.

In an interview with Shiksha Arora on Friday, December 19, 2025, Trisha revealed that relentless trolling and online negativity once pushed her to the edge, leaving her emotionally drained and ready to delete her accounts.

“Yes, there was a time I reached a point where I wanted to quit social media,” she admitted.

At her lowest moment, Trisha turned to someone she deeply trusted — Vera Sidika. The socialite didn’t sugarcoat her advice. Instead, she gave Trisha a hard truth ultimatum that would change everything.

“Vera told me I had two options: face the challenges or pack up and go home,” Trisha recalled.
“By that, she meant closing my accounts and forgetting that I even existed online.”

The words hit hard. Trisha took time to reflect and that pause became her turning point. Despite the hate, her content was paying bills, opening doors, and building a future.

“I asked myself why I would quit when my content was generating income,” she said.

That realization pushed her to stay and fight through the noise.

Today, Trisha says cyberbullying remains part of the journey, but she’s learned how to protect her peace. Her rule is simple: don’t engage — block and move on.

“I read the negative comments, then block the users. Reacting only drains you,” she shared.

In the same interview, Trisha reflected on her rise to TikTok fame, revealing that her success didn’t happen overnight. She joined the platform in 2019, committing to years of consistency, creativity, and patience.

Five years later, the results speak loudly — with many of her videos clocking over a million views. “It’s been five years of hard work. Growth takes time, but it comes,” she said.

When asked about her love life, she admitted she’s in a committed relationship and the way she blushed made it clear she’s head over heels in love.

In previous interviews, she denied dating former Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and Flaqo, keeping her romance private.

From near burnout to viral success, Trisha Khalid’s story is a raw reminder that behind the likes and views are real battles — and sometimes, one honest conversation can change everything.
