Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted he no longer keeps track of the number of luxury cars in his collection, estimating he owns “around 40 or 41.”
In a candid interview with Piers Morgan, the Al-Nassr forward revealed that his approach to wealth and material possessions has evolved over the years.
Once known for his extravagant taste and flashy lifestyle, Ronaldo said he now views car purchases more as investments than personal indulgences.
“I don’t go shopping. If I go anywhere, I can buy whatever I want, but I don’t need that anymore,” Ronaldo shared. “
Let’s say three days ago I bought a car, but it’s for collection. It’s like you buy a frame, I’m not going to drive that car. It’s an investment.”

The 40-year-old football icon, who has amassed a vast fortune through his career and endorsements, said he genuinely can’t recall the exact number of vehicles he owns.
“Honestly, if you have to bet, I say I don’t know. 41, 40. I don’t know. I swear, I swear for my kids,” he said.
Ronaldo explained that his focus has shifted away from material acquisitions toward what truly matters to him now, family and inner peace.
“At this stage of my life, what’s important is not how many cars I have, but being happy and spending time with my loved ones,” he said.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s transformation highlights a more reflective side of the global football icon, one that values simplicity and emotional well-being over luxury and excess.
