Guardian Angel’s wife, Esther Musila, has issued a powerful statement condemning cyberbullying and defending her marriage, which has frequently come under scrutiny because of the age difference between her and the gospel singer.
In a lengthy video shared on her social media platforms, Musila said she was tired of being targeted for her personal life and choices, insisting that respect should be extended to everyone regardless of age or relationship dynamics.
“It is sad that people now have to be bullied for the choices they make,” she wrote. “Why do I have to be the victim when I stand up for myself? I have never been a coward in this life.”
Musila noted that while she often shares harmless content such as gym sessions and daily activities, the reactions she receives can quickly turn hostile.
“I go to the gym, I post. I am doing my stuff, I post, but the comments from some people, you’re attacking me! For what? Why?” she questioned.
Addressing claims that she is always “defending” her marriage, Musila dismissed the notion, saying her relationship is not under threat.
“I’m not defending my marriage. My marriage is not in any problem for me to defend. I am simply protecting my space,” she stated.

The entrepreneur also spoke about the broader impact of online harassment, warning that not everyone has the strength to withstand sustained attacks.
“I’m lucky that I am a strong person… But there are people who are bullied to death,” she said.
Musila further cautioned that cyberbullying is a serious offence and should be treated as such.
“Cyberbullying is a criminal offence and it should be treated with a seriousness,” she added, promising that accountability would eventually catch up with those who persist in online abuse.
Taking a firm stance on the age-gap criticism, she concluded, “I didn’t ask God to be born 55 years ago. So my age is not a point of discussion for anybody or to insult me because I am older than my husband. No, thank you.”
The couple has for years faced online trolling over their marriage, but Musila’s latest message signals a renewed resolve to confront critics and call for greater respect for personal life choices.
