The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has officially designated County Commissioner offices across the country as key centres for the ongoing Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration (ECVR) exercise.
As published in the Kenya Gazette on March 27, 2026, the Commission announced that the registration exercise will run from March 30 to April 28, 2026, providing eligible Kenyans with an opportunity to register as voters, update their details, or transfer their voting stations.
The inclusion of County Commissioner offices is aimed at enhancing accessibility and bringing services closer to wananchi by leveraging the existing national administration infrastructure.
Registration services are also being offered at constituency offices, Huduma Centres, institutions of higher learning, and the IEBC Customer Experience Centre at Anniversary Towers.
The exercise will be conducted daily, including weekends, to ensure that all eligible citizens are able to participate conveniently.
The IEBC has urged all Kenyans aged 18 years and above, and in possession of a valid National Identity Card or passport, to take advantage of this exercise and register as voters.
The Commission reaffirmed its commitment to inclusive, transparent, and efficient electoral processes, noting that expanding registration centres will strengthen public participation and deepen Kenya’s democratic governance.
