A strong wind has blown off the roofs of classrooms at Prof. Ayiecho Obumba Secondary School in Muhoroni, Kisumu County.
The wind, which struck during an afternoon downpour, caused 25 large trees to fall, some landing on classrooms and the school library.
It also brought down electricity poles, leading to a power outage at the school. Additionally, the school’s fence was destroyed.
This situation has raised concern as students prepare for the upcoming national examinations.
