Renowned Kenyan digital creator and comedian Wilson Muirani Gathoni, popularly known as Jaymo Ule Msee, has shared the deeply personal story behind his recent conversion to Islam—a journey of healing, purpose, and spiritual awakening.
Taking to Facebook and Instagram, JaymoUle Msee described the transition as more than a change in faith—it has been a rebirth of the heart and soul, guided by the love and support of his Muslim community.
“My new Islam faith has healed me because my Muslim brothers held my hand and walked with me into my healing, rejuvenating and aligning with my purpose,” Jaymo wrote.
In a video shared from a mosque, he reflected on the transformative power of surrender and faith:
“Today I begin again. A healed heart, a renewed soul, and a life surrendered to Allah. From this moment forward, my steps are guided by faith, service, and purpose. Alhamdulillah.”
For Jaymo, this is not just a spiritual choice, but a conscious step toward self-discovery, living with intention, humility, and service to others.

His story stands out as a reminder that faith can guide, heal, and redefine one’s life.
He joins a growing list of Kenyan public figures embracing Islam, including DJ Kezz, Cassypool, and Harambee Stars defender Collins Sichenje, reflecting a personal journey that resonates far beyond the spotlight.
