Kenyan digital creator and comedian Wilson Muirani Gathoni, popularly known as Jaymo Ule Msee has opened up about the journey that led to his recent conversion to Islam, revealing that he had previously sought spiritual guidance from Pastor T Mwangi during a difficult period in his life.
In a candid Facebook post, Jaymoh explained that earlier this year, his life was “falling apart,” prompting him to reach out for help.
“I reached out to Pastor T requiring spiritual help as my life was falling apart,” he wrote. According to Jaymoh, Pastor T promised to get back to him, but never did. However, he was quick to clarify that he harbours no bitterness over the silence.

“I am not mad because he never reached out as I understand he serves many people,” Jaymoh said, adding that he chose Pastor T because he felt the preacher could relate to his struggles.
“I reached out to him because he belongs to our generation and he could understand my issues and help me better.”
Jaymoh hinted that the challenges he was facing were deeply personal, noting humorously, “Kuna issues zingine hata ningetajia wazee hata akina Kamanda wangeshtuka sana,” suggesting that some matters were too sensitive to share widely.
Despite narrating his experience, Jaymoh emphasized that his intention was not to attack the clergyman.
“I am not sharing for Pastor T to be vilified by anyone,” he stated. Instead, he said his message was aimed at sparking reflection within the church.

“I share to call on the Church to do better because T is a great man and can do better in his calling.”
Jaymoh went on to explain that he eventually found healing after embracing Islam. “My new Islam faith has healed me because my Muslim brothers held my hand and walked with me into my healing, rejuvenating and aligning with my purpose,” he wrote.
He concluded by affirming his commitment to his new faith, saying, “I am faithfully and happily serving Allah. Mashallah.”
His post has since ignited conversations online about spiritual support, faith transitions, and the role of religious institutions in personal healing journeys.
