The Kenya Rugby Union is set to host the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup Sevens at the RFUEA Grounds in Nairobi on the 15th and 16th of November .
This two-day continental showdown will feature twelve national teams: Tunisia, Egypt, Zambia, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Zimbabwe, Mauritius, Madagascar, Uganda, Kenya, and South Africa.
Fresh off their triumphant victory at the 26th edition of the Safari Sevens, the Kenya Lionesses will aim to maintain their winning momentum and reclaim continental glory on their home turf.
The fixtures for Day 1 of the tournament are scheduled as follows (all times in EAT):
- Morning Session: Tunisia takes on Egypt at 9:00 AM, followed by Zambia vs. Burkina Faso at 9:22 AM, Ghana vs. Côte d’Ivoire at 9:44 AM, and Zimbabwe vs. Mauritius at 10:06 AM.
- Midday Session: Madagascar faces Egypt at 12:00 PM, Uganda plays Burkina Faso at 12:22 PM, the Kenya Lionesses take on Côte d’Ivoire at 12:44 PM, and South Africa meets Mauritius at 1:06 PM.
- Afternoon Session: Madagascar returns to play Tunisia at 3:00 PM, Uganda battles Zambia at 3:22 PM, South Africa squares off against Zimbabwe at 3:44 PM, and the day concludes with the Kenya Lionesses against Ghana at 4:06 PM.
