Kenya’s Men’s and Women’s Roll Ball national teams have both secured places in the semifinals of the 7th Roll Ball World Cup in Dubai, continuing an impressive title-defense campaign by the reigning world champions.
The Kenya Men’s team progressed to the last four following a dominant run through the group stage, recording convincing victories over Poland (18–0), Pakistan (18–4) and Sri Lanka (10–0).
The men sealed their semifinal qualification with a commanding 9–2 quarterfinal win against Saudi Arabia, underlining their attacking efficiency and defensive discipline.
The Kenya Women’s team have equally showcased their championship pedigree, opening their campaign with a resounding 16–0 victory over Argentina before producing a resilient performance in the quarterfinals to defeat Egypt 4–2.
After going two goals down early, the defending champions rallied to level the match by halftime and dominated the second half to secure a place in the semifinals.
As the tournament enters its decisive phase, Team Kenya now stands one match away from the final in both the men’s and women’s categories, firmly focused on defending their world titles and maintaining the country’s dominance in Roll Ball.
