Kenya Power lists six counties to be affected by power blackouts today

Six counties will be affected by power blackouts today (Wednesday), Kenya Power announces.

Affected areas in Nairobi County are; Safari park along Garden Estate Road and adjacent customers. This will take effect from 9am to 5pm.

In Nyeri County, Muruguru, Githiru and Marua will face power blackouts from 9am to 5pm. Gacharageni, Mioro and Kagongo areas will be in the dark from 8am to 5pm. Kiawarigi and Gitunduti will also be affected from 9am to 4:30pm.

Bomet County will be affected by power interruptions starting 9am to 4pm. Mulot, Longisa and adjacent customers are the listed victims today.

Affected areas in Uasin Gishu County include; Tebeclan near Cereal, Kamukunji Estate, Kamukunji primary School, Kibulgeny, Part of Block 10 and adjacent customers from p am to 3pm.

Parts of Kisii County will be in the dark from 8am to 1pm. These are; Menyinkwa, Masongo, Misesi, Iyabe, Mwata, Nyachenge, Kamagambo, Marera HC, Kameji, part of Tabaka Hospitals, Nyaonko and adjacent customers.

In Embu County, power blackouts will affect Karurumo Catholic, Katambararia, Matururi, Kanjatiri Village, Kanduri, Ndumari Sec Sch, Kavuru Pri Sch, Kangondi Pri Sch, Kageeri Mkt, Gatitu Mkt, Kune Sec and adjacent customers from 9am to 4pm.
