The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has issued a public notice confirming that its iCMS platform willl be temporarily unavailable on Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 4:00 a.m to 10:00a.m due to scheduled maintenance.
The system, which handles all customs-related operations including cargo clearance, duty payments, and consignment tracking, will be offline during this period.
The Authority apologized for any incinvenience caused and urged stakeholders to plan accordingly. “Please be advised that there will be a scheduled maintenance of iCMS from Sunday 13th July, 2025, 04:00AM to Sunday 13th July, 2025, 10.00 AM. We regret any inconvenience caused,” the notice read.
iCMS, introduced in 2019 to replace the legacy Simba system, is a digital platform that streamlines customs procedures for importers, exporters, clearing agents, and shipping companies.
iCMS allows users to submit declarations, track goods, and process taxes in real time. The system plays crucial role in enhancing trade efficiency and securing Kenya’s borders against illicit goods.
