Authorities respond
The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) has responded to the incident.
Through its spokesperson, Paul Udoto, KWS says it has since launched several investigations into the incident, with a view of introducing stricter measures for both domestic and international tourists in managing Kenya’s national parks, conservancies, sanctuaries and game reserves.
The need for action was exacerbated by the fact that the same Spanish tourist, self-identified as “adrenaline junkie”, had previously posted more footage of him feeding rhinos with carrots at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, still in Laikipia County.
