What began as a simple TikTok challenge has blossomed into a viral sensation, thanks to the unique bond between a father and son duo — Jabali and his dad.
The two, known for their infectious energy and synchronized moves, have captured the hearts of thousands online. But behind the rhythm and viral views is a heartwarming story of family, passion, and mutual support.
“We did the first video, it went viral, that’s when I discovered the secret was dancing with my dad,” Jabali told TV47’s Ruga Eval during an exclusive interview.
“Before I started doing challenges with him, I used to get just 100 likes. But when he joined in, I started hitting over 100K.” He added.
Jabali’s father, now a proud dance partner, revealed that his love for dancing didn’t start with TikTok. “I used to be a dancer. So when I saw him dancing, I said, ‘like father, like son.’ That’s why I supported him.”
The pair have become an inspiration for many, not just for their talent, but for their message of unity and family involvement.
Jabali’s dad emphasized the importance of parental support, saying, “Parents should take time and get to know their children, understand what they want and support them.”
However, not every moment in their journey has been smooth. Jabali recalled a disappointing incident involving an artist who failed to compensate them after a collaboration.
“My dad was very angry,” he admitted. But the experience didn’t dim their shine. If anything, it strengthened their resolve to continue creating content that brings joy to others.
